Activities of the Iranian Studies Unit:

Scientific and research division

At the outset, we collect information about Iran for scientific research monitoring this country by evaluating internal and external events and developments.

After classification, The Iranian Studies Unit will study these aspects and build a dynamic database of information to utilize in the work of research. Access to studies published in other languages, especially Persian, will investigate Iranian views related to the study and research desired.

This Unit researches and disseminates findings on developments in Iran with particular emphasis on the opinions and statements of informal Iranian institutions, often overlooked by Arab and Western scholars, which have an essential role in Tehran’s decision-making.
The purpose of Iranian Studies Unit is not merely to collect information.
Through research and publishing, the organization seeks to amplify its scientific findings and beyond the political field.
Commercial, investment, cultural, social, military, security, affairs, and issues of the people living in Iran are among the topics of core concern to the Center. Accordingly, we produce policy analysis, position assessments, and political and security alerts that directly support public and private sector leaders’ decision-making.
Iranian Studies Unit supplies Arab and Western state and academic institutions studies and research on Iran based on our developed methodology that accesses data from Iran’s political, military, and security elites.
Our seminars and lectures clarify Iran’s often obscured reality and inform our clients and constituents about the latest developments and events. In addition, we provide discrete tailored consultations to government and corporate leaders.

Additionally, the Unit supports the specialized divisions at universities and diplomatic and security institutes in the Arab world concerned with Iranian affairs,

Lecture and seminar programs

Iranian Studies Unit facilitates seminars and conferences to advance its objectives.

These seminars and conferences address vital topics in the Iranian affairs sphere and raise awareness of the core issues for Arab and international thought leaders, media professionals, and diplomats.

Launching a specialized lecture series is a top priority for the Unit, and management has prioritized identifying expert presenters and panelists for these public events. These lectures will deepen appreciation of the Unit’s research work and raise the level of Iranian studies in the region due to our emphasis on data-driven analysis.

This public activity opens new horizons for scientific research, building a knowledge base and ensuring a reliable information flow in Iranian studies.

Reports and Consultation Services

Management of the MEMPSI Iranian Studies Unit commissions the Center’s studies, research, and reports to drive its consulting services.

Clients will rely on unit management as they grapple with the accelerating role of Iran in regional affairs and the country’s ongoing challenges to stability and growth in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Palestine, and Bahrain.

Other studies will track Tehran’s influence in regional capitals; we track how it engages Islamic movements, media, and the broader civil society, including private enterprises.

Supporting press and media, satellite TV project

MEMPSI’s Iranian Studies Unit will prepare a weekly “The Arab World in the Iranian Media” report and a monthly bulletin titled “Iranian Press Trends towards the Arab World.”

These reports examine Iranian articles, studies, and news headlines, taking into account the trends of both reformist and conservative Iranian outlets.

In addition, our press and media monitoring of Persian-language websites, social verticals, and sites of traditional publications will set new standards in the field of specialized studies assessing the political, security, social, cultural, sectarian, and economic conditions.

Recognizing that we live in the age of satellite news channels and that information demand comes from all segments of society, the Iranian Studies Unit will conceive several different media projects to enlighten Iranians across lines of social, cultural, and cultural and political difference.

Tailored Solutions from MEMPSI’s Iranian Studies Unit

This MEMPSI unit will be the nucleus of the media industry by establishing an independent satellite channel on Iranian affairs. In addition, the database provided by the Iranian Studies Unit will provide an excellent platform in the media and program development field in various fields concerning Iran.

The Iranian Studies Unit also engages elite media institutions to assist in conducting studies, research, and surveys tailored to these institutions as they prepare various programs on Iran. It also provides editorial directors and senior editors with related consultancy services.

Measuring- and Forming Public Opinion:

Another core project is the active public opinion measurement, especially attuned to Iran’s specific conditions. Management of the Iranian Studies Unit will design public opinion research in tandem with the original findings derived from our scholarly media and open source studies.

The enhanced window into the Iranian public’s perception of reality will be a critical tool for decision-makers and interested institutions interested in regional and global affairs.

Iranian studies courses and teaching Persian language learning

After its establishment, the Iranian Studies Unit will organize specialized classes with the Department. In addition, the Center will publicize these educational opportunities, and institutions in the Arab countries will participate in fee-for-service.

Iranian studies expertise and Persian language instruction will support researchers, academics, diplomats, and cultural and military attaches throughout the Arabic-speaking countries.

Publishing

MEMPSI’s Iranian Studies Unit will operate a research and publications arm to showcase its work on internal and external Iranian affairs and how they impact the region’s countries. We envision the production of a scholarly journal published and distributed by subscription to institutions, universities, and scientific centers. Writing will not be limited to resident researchers of the Iranian Studies Unit. However, it will be open to specialists on topics of interest to the Foundation.

This Unit will issue an annual bulletin explaining the research, studies, and lectures in addition to the courses, activities, and analyses that are still under investigation in the future. The Unit will also focus on the authorship in areas of interest to Iran.
